Gansai paints in general and Turner’s Japanesque paints(originally made as acrylic paints) are named after traditional Japanese colors that have been passed down since ancient times.

Although some colors may appear similar to Western colors as they use similar pigments, understanding the meanings of traditional Japanese color names allows us to see and use the colors with different emotions.
